Berkeley Urgent Care Center: Campers Beware of Mosquito-Borne Diseases

Is the hustle and bustle of modern life taking its toll on you? Then perhaps it’s time to unplug for a bit and go exploring the great outdoors. Luckily, the Berkeley area is in close proximity to the Anthony Chabot Regional Park, where you can spend an evening at one of its wonderful campgrounds. The only lights you’ll see are the stars in the sky–not notifications from your smartphone.

Prior to packing for a camping trip, there’s one danger that Berkeley urgent care centers want you to prepare for: mosquitoes. As you might know, mosquitoes thrive in wet surroundings such as rivers, lakes, and puddles, which are often found in parks.
